Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program allows U.S. students to teach English, enroll in graduate coursework, or pursue independent research or creative projects in more than 160 countries around the world. The program is extremely flexible and open to students in any degree program/discipline. FSU has an internal application process with initial deadlines in June. CCWH/Berks Graduate Student Fellowship
The CCWH / Berkshire Conference of Women Historians Graduate Student Fellowship is a $1000 award to a graduate student completing a dissertation in a history department. The award is intended to support either a crucial stage of research or the final year of writing. The applicant must be a graduate student historian in a history department in a U.S. institution; must have passed to A.B.D. status by the time of application.

AHA Predoctoral Fellowship
The American Heart Association Predoctoral fellowship aims to enhance the integrated research and clinical training of promising students who are matriculated in pre-doctoral or clinical health professional degree training programs and who intend careers as scientists, physician-scientists or other clinician-scientists, or related careers aimed at improving global cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and brain health. Application portal opens in July.

Sigma Xi Grants in Aid of Research
Offered by Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Honor Society, the Grants in Aid of Research may be used to support scientific investigation in any field. Graduate students may request up to $5,000 to be used for supplies, travel to research sites, or stipends for research participants. Applications open July 1.

NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship
The NAEd/Spencer Dissertation Fellowship encourages a new generation of scholars from a wide range of disciplines and professional fields to undertake research relevant to the improvement of education. This fellowship supports candidates whose dissertation projects bring innovative and insightful approaches to the history, theory, analysis, or application of formal and informal education. Application opens July 1.

PhRMA Predoctoral Fellowship in Value Assessment-Health Outcomes Research
Providing $30,000 a year for up to two years, the PhRMA Foundation’s Predoctoral Fellowship in Value Assessment-Health Outcomes Research (VA-HOR) is designed to support promising students (U.S. and non-U.S. citizens) during advanced stages of training and thesis research in value assessment and health outcomes research. Applications will open in September 2025.
