Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides opportunities to teach English, conduct independent research/creative projects, or enroll in graduate coursework in more than 150 countries around the world. Byron Hanke Fellowship
The Foundation for Community Association Research (FCAR) awards its Byron Hanke Fellowship to selected graduate students to implement research projects related to the development, management and governance of common interest communities and their community associations. Projects may focus on either applied or theoretical research. The Foundation is especially interested in substantive papers from the social sciences, which place community association housing within political or economic organizational models.

Morris K. Udall and John S. McCain III Native American Graduate Fellowship in Tribal Policy
In 2026, the Udall Foundation will award up to two Native American Graduate Fellowships to outstanding Native American and Alaska Native graduate students who are pursuing advanced degrees in health care fields and who have demonstrated a commitment to Native health care. Native American Graduate Fellows will receive a monetary award of $25,000 for the 2026-2027 academic year.

DOE Office of Science Graduate Student Research (SCGSR) Program

Clara Mayo Grants
The Clara Mayo Grant program was set up to support masters’ theses or pre-dissertation research on aspects of sexism, racism, or prejudice, with preference given to students enrolled in a terminal master’s program. Studies of the application of theory or the design of interventions or treatments to address these problems are welcome. Up to six grants will be awarded each cycle. The maximum amount of any grant is $1,000.

Nursing Education Scholarships
The National League of Nursing offers five different scholarships to support graduate students pursuing studies in nursing. The website features a video covering the available scholarships, eligibility, and application process. Scholarships range from $5,000 to $8,000.
