Motivation to pursue a graduate degree

I have loved school since I was little. I always knew I would pursue education to the fullest extent. I also would love to become a professor later in my life. I chose FSU because my bachelors degree experience here was so wonderful, I wanted to stay!

Importance and/or impact of research and work

I plan to study artificial intelligence, focusing on machine learning and the development of intelligent systems that address real-world challenges.

Career aspirations

After graduating, I will work at the Panama City Naval Warfare Center.

Advice for anyone considering graduate school

Go for it. You don't need to have everything figured out, I sure don't! It's about growing into your interests and exploring subjects you love

Accomplishments during graduate career

I am most proud of earning the SMART Scholarship and successfully transitioning into the PhD program in computer science. These milestones reflect my commitment to advanced research and my dedication to contributing to impactful, real-world applications.
