Scholarship Information

The 2023 FSCA Scholarship applications are now available. FSCA will award four high school scholarships for $250 each and three graduate student scholarships for $500 each. One of the four high school scholarships will be awarded to the child of a FSCA member!  All application materials must be received by 5 pm Friday, April 14, 2023. All questions should be directed to:  scholarships@fla-schoolcounselor.org

High School student criteria:

  • Current 12thgraders on track to graduate either during the current spring or summer; and;
  • Intent to enroll in a postsecondary institution in the upcoming summer or fall following high school graduation.
  • The application requires a 250-500 words response to the following: How my school counselor made a difference in my high school years?

Graduate-level student application criteria:

  • A current graduate student enrolled in a Florida School Counseling preparation program;
  • Enrolled as a school counseling graduate student for the next upcoming academic year; and,
  • Hold a current FSCA member.
  • The application requires a 500-750 word response to this prompt: As the needs of today’s students evolve, so must school counselors. How will you improve equity in education while also advocating for the role of school counselors as vital members of the education system?
