Technical and Professional Internships (TPI)

- Currently enrolled in master’s or doctoral (Ph.D or J.D) degree program
- Recent graduate (master’s)
- US citizen or LPR

- Summer: full-time 10-12 weeks

US Quantum Information Science Summer School

- Full-time undergraduate enrolled at a US college or university, post-sophomore (second) year
- OR full-time graduate enrolled at a US college or university
- OR an employee of a national lab, university, national quantum information science research center or industry (engineer, scientist, technician)
- Full-time, on-site only
- All admissions contingent upon DOE site-access approval to ORNL
- Acceptance date: April 14, 2024
- Check into University of Tennessee, Knoxville dorm for badging: July 14, 2024

The GEM Fellow Internship Program at ORNL (GEM)
Summer 2024 applications now closed
a student must first be awarded a fellowship by the National Gem Consortium then be invited to an internship at ORNL.

DOE OMNI Technology Alliance Internship Program (OMNI)

- Studying the field of cybersecurity, or other IT-related topics and is either:
- A fulltime undergraduate of graduate student OR
- A recent graduate (AS/BS/PhD) in last 2 years

NNSA Minority Serving Institution Internship Program (MSIIP)

- Undergraduate or Graduate student at a Minority Serving Institution.
